Capacity building for single mother community leaders to manage credit Union 2014

The program was aimed to give knowledge for single mother community leaders to manage credit union. 

It was conducted in two phases:

-      First training was held in Good Shepherd boarding house Ruteng on 24 – 26 Januari 2014 with 50 participants attended. Topic was about basic knowledge on book keeping for credit union and how to make rules for the group.


-      Second training was held in Efata retreat house on 7 – 9 Nov 2014 with 29 participants attended. Topic was about advance knowledge on book keeping for credit union.


At the second meeting RGS invited only groups that have difficulties to manage credit union due to lack of knowledge. Result of the program is that 50 single mothers are responsible to manage credit union in 12 groups with total number of member approximately 240 women. Because of training, 12 groups are using similar books and rules.
