History:
Good Shepherd
Services for women and Children (GSSWC) is an institution founded by the Good
Shepherd Sisters of Indonesia province and operated by the Good Shepherd
Sisters and lay partners. This institution was founded after the Indonesia
provincial chapter in 2002 to accelerate the Good shepherd’s mission on Justice
and peace.
Prior to
2007, the institution considered as a pool of all the Good Shepherd Sisters’
ministries and services. Numerous and multiple variety of services created
difficulties in managing GSSWC. Current management of GSSWC decided to focus on
Women and Children as the most imperative issue based on the Good Shepherd
General and provincial Chapter.
The focus
of Good Shepherd Services for Women and Children (GSSWC) is to make visible
